Tell us about where you’re from, what you do, how it all started and why you enjoy it.

I am from Manchester, England. In my spare time I make small leather good such as wallets, sheaths, journal covers and keyrings. It all started in 2016 when I wanted to make a sheath for a knife I made with my dad in our homemade forge. I went to a local leather supplier to buy some veg tan leather. I started to learn how to carve and stamp leather and got the bug. I have never looked back. I turned my expensive hobby in to a small business in 2017 making anything and everything that has been requested.

What are your aims and are there any items or products you’d love to make?

I aim to continue to build up a loyal and solid customer base from around the world. I have a map in my workshop which shows the countries I have shipped my products to. I would love to keep adding to that and be able to say that I my products are in every country in the world.. I really enjoy making valet trays and wallets. I enjoy hand stitching as I find it relaxing.

What do you consider your greatest achievement in the work you do associated with EDC?

I would say that my biggest achievement in the EDC world is meeting and being able to be part of the EDC Cooperative and being lucky enough to be making official products for the Coop.

What is the best thing you have made and why?

I think my luxury Horween wallets are one of my best products. They are handmade using SHF Horween. They are hand stitched using tiger thread (saddle stitched) soft but hard-wearing and available in some great colour combinations. I also love the natural veg tan keyrings with brass splittings that I made for the EDC Coop. Can’t wait to see everyones patina on those in a year or so….

What EDC gear is in your pockets right now?

I have my UKPK with custom Oakedge brass scales. Leatherman Raptor Shears and my Copper i5t

What’s the favourite piece of EDC gear that you own?

I would have to say it is my UKPK as it is UK legal and lives in my pocket. I keep it razor sharp and cuts through anything.

What EDC item would you love to own and why?

My grail knife is a Giant Mouse GMF1-F. or a Microtech Bounty Hunter OTF (if I every lived somewhere where it was a legal carry)

A random fact about yourself that readers won’t learn anywhere else

I have two dogs, a Boxer and a Pug. I love the NFL American football and support the Steelers. I used to be in a band playing guitar/sing. I went to uni in London and studied Music Instrument Technology (I specialised in making acoustic guitars)
