Tell us about where you’re from, what you do, how it all started and why you enjoy it.
I am from Long Island, NY and I run a small EDC Tool company. One of my good friends turned me on to Knives and Pocket Tools and I couldn’t help but to work on my own designs. I love the design process and working through new ideas.
What are your aims and are there any items or products you’d love to make?
I do my best to create items that are multipurpose and feature an interesting aesthetic. Always open to new ideas and have my first Friction Folder design in the works now.
What do you consider your greatest achievement in the work you do associated with EDC?
Friendships, just really enjoy being able to form bonds with people from all over the world.
What is the best thing you have made and why?
Tough question as I always enjoy the next chapter of my design process. I would have to say my 84 Tool design as it was the first design I produced and the tool that started me on this awesome journey.
What EDC gear is in your pockets right now?
A Damned Designs Oni, Michael Morris Pry and A 2 piece Stainless August Ghoul.
What’s the favourite piece of EDC gear that you own?
Would have to say the first prototype of my 84 Tool. At the time I made it I only had access to 1/8” Material so I laser cut 2 and welded them together. Still carry it from time to time.
What EDC item would you love to own and why?
I’ve been a huge fan of Vero Engineering, so any of their pieces would be awesome.
