Tell us about where you’re from, what you do, how it all started and why you enjoy it.

I’m from Orlando Florida USA. I manufacture the worlds most innovative, rugged, multipurpose, pry/digging tools. My brother is a Marine EOD tech and was deployed to Iraq. I made him a molle compatible digging tool to take on deployment with him.

Soon after he got there, all his friends started asking for the tool. I was making them for free and sending them over by the box full.

After his recommendation, I brought my tools to a few local outdoor expos and the rest is history. I quit my full time job at the hardware store and worked on expanding my brand and the culture that goes along with it. I love what I do.

The best part of my job is knowing that my tools are used worldwide by some of the bravest people… military, law enforcement and first responders. I recently broke into the construction market and seeing my products in tool belts is awesome!

What are your aims and are there any items or products you’d love to make?

The last 5 years specifically have been big growing years. A smoother production process, laser engraving and a nice new shop/showroom are just a few of the enhancements made to the brand.

This year is all about innovation and new accessories. New steels, kydex sheaths, mounting options, patches and chance coins just to name a few. I’d also like to make some custom/ limited production models just for fun.

What do you consider your greatest achievement in the work you do associated with EDC?

I have my RPT model that’s great for EDC. On the other side of the spectrum, I have my military grade EOD model. In the middle of these 2 is the Foreman.

The Foreman is a compact version of the EOD and is part of my personal EDC. It’s big enough to get any job done and yet compact enough to be thrown in a pocket with your wallet. Unlike small pocket prybars, the Foreman is capable of serious work and is a nice companion in a SHTF scenario.

When traveling, you can’t beat the TSA compliant RPT. I hate not having something in my pocket while traveling the the RPT fills that void. It’s quite thicker then the competitors and is a nice beefy pry that still disappears in your pocket.

What is the best thing you have made and why?

The best item I’ve made in my opinion has been my EOD model. It’s my best seller and has been deployed with militaries worldwide. The true testament is the feedback and the thank you letters I’ve received from the end users. It gives me a big sense of purpose.

What EDC gear is in your pockets right now?

My personal EDC consists of a Maxpedition wallet and Foreman with slip in my left pocket. My RPT with custom lanyard and Ontario Rat 1 (OD green) in my right pocket.

What’s the favourite piece of EDC gear that you own?

My favorite piece of EDC gear is my RPT. I could replace most of my other items with this one tool. I literally take this tool everywhere and it has a lot of sentimental value as it’s been on every trip with me. I have a custom lanyard made by a friend of mine on it and I find myself grabbing this tool more often then anything else I own.

What EDC item would you love to own and why?

I would love to own a EDC Cooperative coin!

A random fact about yourself that readers won’t learn anywhere else

I am a high school drop out and used to wash windows after my full time job at the hardware store to get extra money for my family. I’ve had 6 failed businesses but never gave up on my dream to be my own boss.
